Was planning to go on the weekend as kids out of town, but finally decided to go on a weekday.
Place was quite empty. We expected it summer weekday in Dubai.
It was hot (Dubai in July) so wanted to sit indoor, but thought the music and the view would be better outside.
Decided to try and sit out. Immediately the person who was to be our waitress ran and started moving the massive Fans/portable air conditioning to point to our table. So we sat out.
We had a long lunch/drinks and we were at our table from 330 to almost 8pm. Our waitress (Alex from Rumania) was superb. Even though it was hot and we were the only table outside in the restaurant area she was constantly outside by the table and yet at a distance not to be too intrusive, but near enough to see when we needed something.
We ordered various dishes and I tried the Sashimi (Tuna and Salmon) and they were good. I also tried the Lobster Sushi Roll. This was excellent. Great taste. Great presentation.
View is spectacular.
Food was good, but what made all special was the service form Alex. Thank you Alex. she constantly kept the table clean and made sure our glasses were never empty.
Rest of the staff we came across were also great (Chris from France, Paolo from Ukraine).
Before we left we had a light dinner and spoke to the Chef from Guatemala. He was also great to meet and made us want to come again and try more dishes.
Keep it going I am sure we will come more often, and can't wait for the better weather to come back then as well.

EntrecĂ´te cafe de Paris Dubai , The Dubai Mall
Great Potential but needs to Improve Quality of Basic Ingredient
This review is based on several visits in the last 12 months.
Have been here often and I go because my children like the sauce...
Service is good from the beginning and staff try and adjust timing according to what you ask. As the menu is only one, the food can be pretty fast if you so require.
Salad is good, nothing special (plain lettuce) but the dressing makes it interesting though you always need to ask for more dressing.
Next is the meat. Have tried all the types, even the Wagyu (excessively expensive) and none really have good taste. Now as we go for the sauce, fries, salad and dessert (not quality of meat) I just order the least expensive meat in the menu and it is just as good as the the other ones in the menu.
The meat is tasteless, its what in school we use to say (tastes likes a rubber (shoe) sole - I have never tried a rubber sole).
As they main thing is the meat a little of improvement in the meat quality would be great and would make it worth going (even if you increase menu by 10 aed).
What can I say all is good here, just better meat. Went yesterday for the most recent time, and was really poor meat.
Obviously this location does not allow for alcoholic beverages so its not their fault.
Please improve the meat so I actually feel like coming. Your meat is not far from MacDonalds quality.

La Serre Bistro, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
“Impressed”
I have eaten in all the usuals of Dubai, and specially in the one this one is competing with (la Petite Maison).
La Serre was much better, the service, the food, and the day light (I went for lunch).
Maybe not that much of an atmosphere in the Bar (It is not DIFC, so the footfall is more limited), but the food much better.
I have been a few times and the food is constantly good.
Dishes to try:
The roast chicken with Foie: expensive for a chicken but 3 can eat.
Quinoa salad with Duck: Amazing mix of tastes
Lobster Linguini: Simple but good.
Actually no dish has disappointed me so try all.
La Farine, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
“Simple but excellent”
I eat there a few times a month.
Food is generally good but lately I order from the dish of the day election (I say selection because they have between 2 and 3 different dishes of the day).
Last week one day I had the fish (Sea Bam). Great presentation, great taste, and great quality.
Next day I had the lamb shank. This was heavy but too die for. Gravy was excellent, lamb was tender, vegetables were cooked to perfection and mashed potatoes were superb.
Chef and his team do a magnificent job with their dishes but I will reiterate that you must try the daily specials.
This is not a Michelin restaurant but food wise its excellent. regular dishes from menu are good as well.
One disappointment: I saw them opening a bag of fries to cook. Chef, please with everything so good i would love to try some kitchen-made fries form here.
Robin and the rest of the team always do a great job.

El Sur, The Westin Hotel, Al Sufouh Road, Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
All dishes were good
All dishes were good, and this was a surprise as normally Spanish restaurants all over the world (outside Spain) don't do it for me (I was born and raised in Spain for most of my life).
Hostess was courteous, and spoke good English, until we started talking in Spanish.
She accommodated that as it was not full we could eat anything in the Bar area (not just the tapas).
We shared 5 dishes and each was as impressive as the other.
Will definitely go back and take others.
